** IMPORTANT VENUE RULES **  

  • No Tape Anywhere; nothing adhesive can be stuck to the floors, walls, and surfaces. 

  • The User or the User’s Vendors are responsible for removing trash, food scraps, recycling, etc. from the venue immediately after the event and for providing trash receptacles and trash bags for their event.

  • The User or the User’s Vendors are responsible for overseeing the venue's load-in and set-up, the entire event, and the load-out.

  • $500 fine for bringing any outside alcohol into the property at any time, including the dressing rooms and suites, during the pre-ceremony hours of any event. All on-premise alcohol must be coordinated with and ordered from Coastal Cuisine & Cocktail Co.

LOAD IN 

  • Load in / Set Up begins at 11am the morning of the event, unless a different time is agreed upon between user and venue ownership. 

  • The best place to load in is on 9th Street, just before J Street. A yellow curb loading zone parking spot is just outside the doors leading into the venue.

LOADOUT

  • Music must be turned off by 11:30 p.m., guests must leave by 11:45 p.m., and the venue must be loaded out, rentals picked up, and locked by 1:30 a.m. after the event.

TRASH REMOVAL

  • There are no dumpsters.

  • The user or the User’s vendors are responsible for removing all excess trash, including decor, florals, etc., not caused by catering or bar service.

  • Excess trash must be taken out of the venue and off the entire block, not left on the street, corner, or in nearby city trash bins or our neighbor’s trash bins.

VENDORS

  • No tape anywhere! Nothing adhesive can be stuck to the floors, walls, or other surfaces.

  • Cover cords with a rug or mat to prevent guests from tripping.

  • If you are choosing vendors not on our recommended vendor list, please get those vendors and their insurance approved by the venue manager. 

  • All vendors or subcontractors, including but not limited to event planners and rental companies, must submit each certificate of insurance showing proof of general liability and property damage coverage up to one million dollars ($1,000,000). 

FURNISHED SUITES 

  • All furniture in the Furnished Suite areas is to remain in the private rooms and not used in other parts of the venue.

  • The Suites are not allowed to be used as a dance floor area. 

LADDER USE: 

  • If User chooses to use any ladders, stools, scissor lifts, etc. whether brought in by the USER or from the Owner, User does so at their own risk, and can not hold the Owner, Venue or Management responsible for any injury or damage caused from the ladder use.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS

  • The emergency exit doors must remain closed at all times and may be used only in case of an emergency. 

  • There is no roof access allowed by User or any of User’s guests.

  • SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE VENUE. If User or its guests or invitees smoke within the venue, User agrees to pay Owner two times (2X) the sum of those fees listed above. Vapor pens are not allowed.

MUSIC

  • Live music, bands, etc., are allowed with written approval from the Venue Mangement. 

  • Any music, DJs, etc., must be turned off by 11:30 p.m. Guests must leave by 11:45 p.m., and the venue must be loaded out and locked by 1:30 a.m. after the event.

PARKING

DECOR - ** Attention!  Failure to follow the below rules will result in a $500 fine per instance. **

    • No tape anywhere! Nothing adhesive can be stuck to the floors, walls, and surfaces. 

  • You must consult venue management before hanging anything on the wall and/or ceiling.

  • Candles must always be in a vessel and meet California fire code. 

    • When lit, the flame must be at least 1” or more below the rim of the candle holder. 

    • Flameless/LED candles are preferred.

  • No Sparklers or any fireworks inside or outside of the venue.

  • No fog or smoke machines or hazers.

  • No glitter or confetti.

  • No climbing on the trees or walking/dancing on their circular benches.
